…wherever you go.”
Advice I received from a wise man once. Not always followed it, but always been blessed when I have.
We went out this morning in Croydon, armed with a table with tea and coffee, and some ice lollies.
“Would you like some tea or coffee? It’s free.” Was the very simple pitch.
Many say no thanks.
Some of those ask, “Why are you doing this?” We respond that we’re from a local church and want to bless the community to reflect something of Jesus’ love.
Some remarkable conversations take place. We exchange stories. People asked to be prayed for. One or two break down in tears, “I needed this today.” People on team are wonderfully surprised at how the Lord opens doors for them.
The Father is always working. Gentle nudges in people’s lives to reveal his goodness and kindness.
Disciple, always do street work wherever you go.
