The Ability to Read and Write

MAKES

We consider it a sort of tragedy if someone is unable to read and write.

These are incredible, life transforming abilities.  What kind of price could be put on them?

The movement we’re part of has been propelled in part by a book.  Inspired by the Master who’d lean on his text, and regularly ask others, ‘haven’t you read?’

So I’m wondering today, disciple, how you’re currently putting this entrustment to use in your life and walk?

Would a greater tragedy than illiteracy, be only using these abilities to flit and flirt around social media?

If you’re literate you’ve got a kind of superpower. Don’t squander it. Squeeze every ounce of goodness out of it you possibly can.
