We can often find ourselves thinking of discipleship in individualistic terms. How is my knowledge increasing? How am I feeding myself? How is my prayer life? Where is my heart at? As though the Lord is chiselling away at us, creating a miniature masterpiece:

When thinking discipleship, think community. How are we being formed together? What journey is Jesus taking us on? How are we dealing with relational conflict? The better Da Vinci portrayal of discipleship is:
