Temple Doors

Three chapters in Two Chronicles give us the lessons from the entire life of Hezekiah.

He took the crown at 25, and the first thing he did? “In the first month of the first year of his reign, he opened the doors of the temple of the Lord and repaired them.”

Disciple, as you exercise your reign over your life, the first thing to do is take the closed and broken doors of our hearts and open them to the service and worship of the Lord.

More important than our accounts, our advisors, our accommodation or our plans of action, is to fill our hearts with adoration and awe.

First commandment in first place in the first exercise of our reign.

Disciple, how are your doors today?
